We acknowledge that we are situated on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, and Nakota peoples and the homeland of the Metis. We honour and pay our respects to the Elders - past, present and future- who carry forward the rich memories, traditions, cultures, and aspirations of Indigenous Peoples. We are committed to fostering mutual respect and understanding.
HOME
“Gearing Up” for Spring 2026 at the Melfort Museum
In our Settlers Village you’ll see an authentic village with all the tools of yesterday. A barbershop, the Beatty Pumper, the Bennett Home, a blacksmith, Hardware store, Bunkhouse, General Store ,the Meskanaw Church and much more
Our volunteers are getting ready for the Sring roll out - by finishing a couple of “new to us” Farmall tractors! This past fall, they’ve been busy restoring and painting a number of antique vehicles. Some are now outside, so feel free to stop by and take a look. A big thank you to the City Of Melfort for moving the snow to make room for the freshly painted tractors!
We have a treat for you! Join us on Wednesday, February 4 at 3 pm to view local home videos from the 1950s. These vintage films are sure to spark lively discussion and bring back plenty of shared memories. Come for the footage, stay for the stories!
